A Laguna Beach nonprofit

A place to find yourself — and each other

In a culture increasingly shaped by distraction and optimization, we create a third space where people can slow down, listen deeply, ask honestly, and encounter one another with openness rather than persuasion.

Lighthouse Library pays for the programming that makes that possible, so the door stays open to everyone.

  • Curiosity before identityWe arrive as people with questions, not positions to defend.
  • Presence before performancePhones go in a locker. Attention goes to the person in front of you.
  • Contribution over consumptionEveryone in the room adds something to it.

Keep the light on

Every gathering is free to walk into. Your gift pays the people who guide them and keeps it that way for the next person through the door.

Online giving opens here soon. To give in the meantime, or to talk about sponsoring an evening, write to us at hello@thelighthouselibrary.org.
